Mission
PsyArc’s mission is to revitalize the humanities—starting with classical theatre and literature—by making immersive, interactive performances accessible to educators, students, and audiences everywhere.
About
PsyArc is an immersive media studio focused on reimagining classic works through virtual reality, spatial audio, and AI-driven dialogue. We create interactive performances that invite viewers to become active participants, expanding access to high-quality arts experiences beyond traditional stages.
Our first production demo, Theseus’ Midsummer Night’s Dream, transforms Act I, Scene 1 of Shakespeare’s play into a 12- to 15-minute branching VR narrative. Audiences enter Theseus’ court, influence the storyline through spatially positioned dialogue, and conclude with a brief, in-character debrief from an AI fairy. The piece features original 3-D assets, fully spatialized sound, and a streamlined runtime ideal for both live installations and remote sessions.
The production demo will tour museums, libraries, and midsize theaters across Massachusetts while remaining freely available for a time via an online portal for schools and the public. Built-in accessibility—open captions, audio description, and venue accommodations—ensures an inclusive experience for all visitors.
